We asked Mike a few questions to learn some history and to get to know his business better!
Why did you choose Aldershot for your business?
To be totally honest, when I opened 22 years ago it was one of the only places in Burlington where I could get retail space to rent. How lucky was that for me. Look at how great it is 22 years later!
What sets you apart from all the rest?
I believe that it is the service that I give my customers. I also believe there’s a bit of a social atmosphere when you come into the store. Often the customers know each other from playing tennis, so they spend time socializing.
What is your specialty product or service?
My specialty product is anything to do with tennis. My service is racquet stringing. Often I get the racquets back to the customer same day.
What do you love about Aldershot and what is YOUR favourite business to visit in our BIA?
I would say the thing that I love most about Aldershot the is the village like atmosphere. All the new development is something I really like.
What would you like the Aldershot community to know about you and your business.
I play tennis most days of the week. I love coming to work every day. Tennis is a life long sport. I have customers in their late 80s and early 90s still playing.
