People on Plains Blog Series – Meet Dr. Richard Anderson from Dental Life!
We asked a few questions to learn some history and to get to know his business better.
1. Why did you choose Aldershot for your business?
It was serendipity that I ended up in Aldershot. I proposed to the woman of my dreams when we were living in London, Ontario. She then got the job of her dreams here in Burlington. So, we moved here and as it turns out, in my search for the perfect dental office in which to practice, I landed the job of my dreams, here in Aldershot!
2. What sets you apart from all the rest?
I don’t know what all the rest are like, but I can tell you what I’m like. I love working with all my patients, from the young to the, well, ‘young at heart’. When I’m working on a patient, sometimes you can even hear me singing a tune. While I like to be light-hearted in my approach, I’m very serious about delivering high quality dentistry. At Dental Life, I see patients that have been getting their teeth taken care of here for 40+ years. It delights me to witness the longevity of quality dental work.
3. What is your specialty product or service?
I am a general dentist who graduated from The University of Western Ontario (2004, Honours in Biology and 2008 – Doctor of Dental Surgery)
I have extensive experience working with children at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, and maintained hospital privileges at a community hospital.
Dental Life has a dedicated on site laboratory. We collaborate with the prosthodontics clinic of Dr. Patrick Pedlar to deliver comprehensive dentistry for you and your family. Our highly trained team of health care providers is our biggest asset.
4. What do you love about Aldershot and what is YOUR favourite business to visit in our BIA?
I LOVE the charm and understated elegance of Aldershot. For example, I got to experience the community’s charm one sunny Saturday when I took my family out to the iconic Russell Williams Restaurant. Afterwards, we took a stroll to the marina, via LaSalle Park, where a softball tournament was happening. Aldershot has a great, unique community feel, and I look forward to exploring and supporting all the BIA’s independent businesses.
5. What would you like the Aldershot community to know about you and your business?
The Team at Dental Life are warm and welcoming. Our well established practice continues to accept new patients of all ages.
