Keep Aldershot Beautiful: Little Touches, Lasting Impressions
A fresh new sign, an upgraded storefront and a beautiful place to sit. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make a neighbourhood even more inviting!
The Aldershot BIA’s Keep Aldershot Beautiful initiative helps local businesses improve their storefronts while building community pride and making Plains Road a more welcoming place to shop, visit and explore.
Here’s a look at three local businesses making a difference.
Bulk Food Warehouse: A Fresh New Look
Bulk Food Warehouse has a new sign! Updated signage gives the storefront a fresh look, helps the business stand out and makes it easier for shoppers to spot this local favourite.
A familiar favourite in Aldershot, Bulk Food Warehouse is one of the businesses that makes our community special. When we shop local, we support the businesses that help shape our neighbourhood. Together, we help Aldershot grow! ❤️
It’s a simple upgrade that adds to the look and feel of Plains Road.
Salon 360: Looking Fabulous
First impressions start at the door!
Salon 360 has upgraded its entrance, giving the storefront a refreshed look and creating a welcoming first impression for clients arriving for their next appointment.
Salon 360 has built its reputation on a passion for hairdressing, ongoing education and a commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience. The talented team stays current with the latest trends, styles and products, continually building their skills to bring clients the best in hair care.
It’s great to see local businesses investing in their spaces and helping keep Plains Road looking its best.
Nail Pro Studio & Spa: A Bench with Heart
Sometimes, the smallest gestures mean the most. At Nail Pro Studio & Spa, the team noticed that some of their senior customers preferred to wait outside for their rides. Rather than letting it go unnoticed, they came up with a simple idea: why not give them a comfortable place to sit, rest and enjoy some fresh air while they wait?
Now, there’s a beautiful new bench outside the studio. It’s a small addition, but it says a lot about the people behind the business. It’s a reminder that caring for a community goes beyond the services we offer. Sometimes, it’s simply about noticing what someone needs and finding a way to help.
That’s what makes shopping local so special. It’s the people, the connections and the little acts of kindness that make Aldershot feel like home.
Keep Aldershot Beautiful, Together
Every improvement adds something special to Plains Road. We’re proud to support our business members in making meaningful storefront upgrades that strengthen our business community and create a more welcoming place to shop, connect and spend time.
Thank you to our local businesses for investing in Aldershot and helping keep our community beautiful!
