Why did you choose Aldershot for your business?

In 2014 we were fortunate to be able to lease a storefront that had previously been a patio store (Jamie’s Office Furniture).  We knew that it was a great area because it had a well established community of families living in nice homes with back yards.

What sets you apart from all the rest?

There are many stores selling quality patio furniture in the GTHA, but we do a few things different.   First, our staff is vitaly interested in our customers and can offer a high level of advice and service to ensure that customers purchase what is best for them now and in the long run.  We have a huge selection of products in our showroom and in our warehouse so we can deliver fast.  Of course we can also special order something from our many suppliers.  Our products are of the highest quality so they will last and offer comfort for many years.  We offer “white glove” delivery and are available for any after sales questions or concerns.

What is your specialty product or service?

Sun Country offers the highest quality patio furniture in outdoor wicker, teak, aluminum, recycled plastic and wrought iron.  We also offer accessories such as cantilever and table umbrellas, outdoor rugs, and pergolas.  Our cushions are all made in St Catharines by our own company.

What do you love about Aldershot and what is YOUR favourite business to visit in our BIA?

We love the vibrant on-street action.  So many stores and restaurants all on the main drag.  Of course we love Peach Coffee right next door.

What would you like the Aldershot community to know about you and your business?

Sun Country started in Niagara over 60 years ago and we have another store in St Catharines.  We are a family business now in it’s 3rd generation of owners.
