Meet Sonia from Mr. Sub Plains Road!
We asked Sonia a few questions to learn some history and get to know her business better.
Why did you choose Aldershot for your business?
Aldershot was the natural choice for for Mr. sub. Not only were the people kind and amazing but we always felt like Aldershot had a unique vibe to it than other parts of Burlington or Hamilton. I didn’t chose Aldershot it chose me!
What sets you apart from all the rest?
Our fresh baked bread. Baked twice daily. And our quality produce sourced locally.
What is your specialty product or service?
Our specialty products are our classic assorted subs. It’s old fashioned but it never goes out of style. We also have a variety of limited time offers that are seasonal. There’s always something new and exciting going on at Mr. sub weather be our new spicy ‘68 sub sauce or are limited time only spicy buffalo chicken wing there’s always something new to try.
What do you love about Aldershot and what is YOUR favourite business to visit in our BIA?
I love the diverse small business’s in the area. We have practically everything you need from awesome spas (such as Stillwater float centre 😉), health and fitness business’s, great food and beautiful parks.
What would you like the Aldershot community to know about you and your business.
This Mr. Sub location has been here since 1979 and we plan on continuing to be a part of the community for years to come. We have some exciting new menu items to look out for as well as a store renovation planned for early 2022 We will constantly strive to provide the best customer service. If something isn’t what you wanted just let us know and we will make it right!
