We asked Maureen a few questions to learn some history and get to know her business better.
Why did you choose Aldershot for your business?
Having lived & in raising my two sons many years ago in the lovely Aldershot area it just made sense to pay it back in supporting the local community that had always been there for me as a single mum hence my business being located in Aldershot.
What sets you apart from all the rest?
Providing good old- fashioned service with a smile where all are welcomed along with a chin wag, a cup of coffee and cookie if customers wish, or a time of letting them browse and enjoy the shopping experience in peace whilst listening to some gentle instrumental music playing softly in the background.
What is your specialty product or service?
We carry a large assortment of fashions in sizes ranging from 0- 3X , along with a smaller selection of sleepwear and loungewear.
In addition we carry three (3 ) Canadian made products lines.
- (eScential wellness) a 100% vegan skin care line.
- (Thentix ) a touch of Honey skin conditioner and muscle joint relief (yes made with real honey).
- Natural Soya Hand Crafted Scented Candles that give adults on the autism spectrum an opportunity to earn a living.
What do you love about Aldershot and what is YOUR favourite business to visit in our BIA?
Aldershot is a lovely hidden gem in the city of Burlington many people still finding the shopping corridor in Aldershot along with finding it’s a great place to shop locally, which offers a wide and varied businesses that make up this diversified shopping experience for the entire family to seek, find and enjoy.
And one of my favourites places (I have many) but this place I visit on a regular basis is Aldershot Foot Clinic. Owner Heidi is one of the best in her field.
