Why did you choose Aldershot for your business?
Our business has over 30 years of history in Aldershot, Jack and Joanne Waters founded the company in the 1980s based on their love of the neighbourhood and the great family orientated community. We believed we could make a difference in people’s lives and help local families. The business has been passed on through multiple generations and we all truly appreciate this community.
What sets you apart from all the rest?
We are a family focussed business, that provides a personalized approach, with financial planning at the root of what we do, providing a comprehensive plan that includes; tax analysis, cash flow analysis, investment analysis, retirement analysis, insurance analysis and more, we look at every aspect of your life and try to help you and your family make the best decisions given your unique circumstances.
What is your specialty product or service?
Our approach to planning is being comprehensive and personalized, like when you are meeting with a nutritionist, personal trainer or therapist, when talking about your financial situation, we have diverse range of clients and families – and thus we customize your experience to meet your needs.
What do you love about Aldershot and what is YOUR favourite business to visit in our BIA?
We love the community feel of Aldershot and the abundance of small business at the forefront of supporting its people. Aldershot has retained its charming character and feel in a growing Burlington (and southern Ontario), that has evolved immensely. We love the food diversity that can often be found on Plains Road, from having a Shawarma at Sana’s Grill, grabbing a pastry and coffee at Peach, enjoying a quiet egg and toast breakfast at Russell Williams, an intimate dinner at Lord Nelson or a loud football game with wings and beer at District Bar; we are often caught doing it all.
