A Day to Remember A Night to Remember

Please see the attached a fun but thoughtful event honouring the 100^th Anniversary of Armistice Day that we at St. Matthew’s want to share with the Community.  The 20 piece Silver Swing Band are fantastic and the Black Bull is catering a complete Turkey Dinner for us all to enjoy and all for $30pp.  Tables for 6 or 8 are able to be reserved by calling the Church Office.  Tickets must be purchased by Tuesday, Nov.6^th.

The proceeds from this fantastic evening will be given to help sustain the Seniors’ Out 4 Lunch program that happens at noon every Monday at St. Matthews, but is put on by volunteers from the 4 Aldershot Churches, East and West Plains United, Holy Rosary Catholic and our Anglican Church.  After 5 years, this has turned into an important social and healthy meal opportunity for the Seniors of Aldershot.  Since it is offered free, there needs to be ways to sustain it financially, and this is our contribution.
